FAQs
Dishy Dogs Superfood products are made with the finest human-grade ingredients. Our packaging is earth-friendly, biodegradable, compostable and free from plastic.
1. Is it ok to switch to a Dishy Dogs raw food diet straight away or should I do it slowly?
As the owner you know your pet, so choose whatever method you feel your pet would respond to, in making the transition a success.
We highly recommend you allow at least 10 days to transition to the new diet. If you are feeding your pet raw food, unfortunately, not all raw foods are equal. Dishy Dogs Superfood meals are rich in organ meat, salmon, sardines and an array of vegetables and fruits that your dog may not be used to eating. That is why transitioning little by little gives your pet the chance to accept the new tastes and smells as normal.
For the best results, gradually increase Dishy Dogs Superfood raw meals into your dog's diet and decrease the old food until the switch is complete.

2. Will my pet get diarrhoea when transitioning to a Dishy Dogs diet?
It is unlikely your pet will experience softer stools when transitioning to Dishy Dogs Superfood diet. In some cases for a day or two, pets may actually experience slightly firmer stools to what has previously been considered normal, especially if they have previously been on a highly processed diet. If your pet is experiencing diarrhoea, we highly recommend adding our Probiotic Pet™ to your pets diet to balance out their gut flora.
3. Do I need to add anything else to Dishy Dogs meals?
Dishy Dogs Superfood is a naturally complete balanced diet. We do, however, highly recommend you add daily our range of Bone Broths, Omega Boost (Immune booster) together with our Turmeric Tonic (an activated blend of anti-inflammatory, anticancer and antifungal goodies). A raw organic egg at least 3 times per week to their meal to optimise your dog's health.
4. Are Dishy Dogs Superfood meals and bone broth suitable for puppies?
Not only is Dishy Dogs Superfood meals and bone broth suitable for puppies, they are a MUST when starting out with your new fur baby. By giving your new furry friend Dishy Dogs Superfood, you are giving them the best start in life to thrive with good health.
5. Are Dishy Dogs meals and bone broth suitable for mature dogs?
Yes! If you have been feeding your pet on Dishy Dogs Superfood, you will notice that your furry friend will be ahead of the game! (looks and feels younger). However, we all know as your furry friend ages they can become a little fussy. We highly recommend increasing their intake of bone broth as it is packed full of amino acids, vitamins and minerals, and is considered a nutrition powerhouse!
6. Do I need to feed my dog dry food in addition to Dishy Dogs meals?
No! Dishy Dogs Superfood has everything you need to optimise your pet's health. We do recommend, giving your furry friend chemical free, grass fed bones and chicken necks in addition to Dishy Dogs meals and bone broth.
Most processed dry foods are just that – highly processed which are NOT biologically appropriate for our furry friends and lack ‘nutritional value’ leaving your pet starved nutritionally.
